One consultation = one patient, one set of complaints, one round of Dr. Yokesh's questions, and one final reply (or one 20-minute call). New complaints or further questions need a new booking.

6.1 General (all plans)

About this service. Online consultations are provided by Dr. Yokesh Arul, DM (Gastroenterology), super-specialty gastroenterologist, in line with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020. Medical Council registration details will be published here once confirmed.

Not for emergencies. If you have severe abdominal or chest pain, vomiting of blood, black or bloody stools, difficulty breathing, fainting, or any other emergency, call 112 or go to the nearest hospital immediately.

Not a replacement for an in-person visit. Advice is based only on the information you share; no physical examination is done. Dr. Yokesh may recommend tests, an in-person visit or another specialist, and may decide that your concern is not suitable for an online consultation.

Medicines. Any medicines advised are limited to what the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines allow for that mode of consultation. Some medicines can only be prescribed after a video or in-person consultation, and some cannot be prescribed online at all. Do not start, stop or change any medicine on your own.

Your information. You must give true and complete information; the advice depends on it. The consultation is only for the patient named at booking. Patients under 18 must be booked by a parent or guardian, who should take part in the consultation.

What one consultation covers. One booking covers one patient and the complaints submitted at the start: one round of follow-up questions from Dr. Yokesh and one final reply (Tiers 1 and 2), or one 20-minute call (Tier 3). Complaints added later, new health issues, or further questions after the final reply need a new booking. Dr. Yokesh may, at his discretion, ask additional questions if needed to complete the assessment.

Communication. The consultation WhatsApp number is only for messages about your active consultation. Please do not call it. Messages sent after a consultation is closed may not be answered.

Timelines. Dr. Yokesh aims to send his questions within 48 hours of your booking and his final reply within 48 hours of receiving your answers. Please reply to his questions within 72 hours; if there is no reply after one reminder, the consultation will be closed.

Payment and refunds. Full payment is taken at booking. You get a full refund if Dr. Yokesh declines your case before the consultation starts. No refund is given once Dr. Yokesh has sent his questions (Tiers 1 and 2) or once the call has taken place (Tier 3). Refunds go to the original payment method within 7 working days.

Privacy. Your health information is kept confidential and used only for your consultation and for records required by law. It is not shared with anyone else except where the law requires. By booking, you agree to be contacted on WhatsApp about your consultation.

Conduct. Abusive or inappropriate messages may lead to the consultation being ended without a refund.

Prices. Current prices are introductory and may change. You pay the price shown at the time of booking.

Contact and jurisdiction. Questions or complaints: WhatsApp +91 86707 89009 (messages only, for active consultations) or reply to your payment confirmation email. These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at New Delhi have jurisdiction.

6.2 Tier 1: Text Consult (₹1,999)

Dr. Yokesh's follow-up questions may come as a typed message or a voice note.
Your answers must be typed and sent together in one message.
The final reply is a written text message only. Voice notes, video notes and calls are not included.

6.3 Tier 2: Voice Consult (₹2,499)

Dr. Yokesh's follow-up questions may come as a typed message or a voice note.
Your answers must be typed and sent together in one message.
The final reply is a recorded voice note or video note, at Dr. Yokesh's choice. This is not a live call; audio and video calls are not included.
The recordings are for your personal use only and must not be posted or shared publicly.

6.4 Tier 3: Live Video Consult (₹5,000)

The call lasts 20 minutes and starts at the booked time. Joining late does not extend the call.
If you do not join within 10 minutes of the start time, it counts as a no-show and is not refunded.
You may reschedule once, at least 24 hours before your slot. If Dr. Yokesh needs to reschedule, you will be offered a new slot or a full refund.
Please submit your complaints and reports before the call, and join from a quiet place with a stable internet connection.
The call may not be recorded by either side without mutual consent.
The consultation ends with the call. Follow-up questions afterwards need a new booking.
